It’s a new year and the perfect time to start working on your New Year’s resolutions. Listening to other successful stories is one of the best ways for me to get inspired, energized and say: “Si se puede!” (“You can do it!”). There are two events coming up soon here in San Diego that are worth checking out.
—UNITE AIGA San Diego event featuring Clive Piercy of air conditioned is coming up this Thursday Feb. 6 at 5pm. Clive and his team have done great design/identity work for a wide range of clients from their office in Santa Monica. Click on the link above for more event info.
—AIGA San Diego Y Design Conference “Curiosity19” is next month, March 14 & 15. This is San Diego’s biggest design event of the year! Two days of listening to some of the best designers in the world sharing their story, interacting with other designers and getting to know the local design community. I’ve been an attendant for the past seven years. This year in particular, I’m super excited to see/listen to Pum Lefebure from Design Army. Design Army is an award-winning firm located in Washington DC. I’m a huge fan of their amazing work. Can’t wait! — Arcelia
