I rented a house with my wife and son along the beach in Cambria for Thanksgiving where some family members could also gather.
Cambria is a quaint beachside community along Highway 1, north of Morro Bay. It has a beautiful beach and a cute little town with plenty of artist galleries, antiques and wine shops. Just a few miles inland is Paso Robles wine region. An added benefit of the area is that our very own Kara Suzuki settled nearby with her husband, Nick, and two sons. While Kara runs her design business and teaches graphic design at Cal Poly, Nick is running their business “Grow.” We were happy to see the new location of Grow, right in the heart of Cambria. The business seems to be growing indeed.
The next time you are passing by, stop in and say hello to Nick, and make sure to pick up one of his rare and unusual succulents. It’s a wonderful shop, you won’t regret it.
